Don't let them see your weakness, don't lose your ground.
Two weeks ago, I watched as my 12-year-old daughter got tears in her eyes, and right away I knew it was because she felt more deeply seen than she ever had in her entire life. It felt like some kind of miracle.
Can you relate to a time you felt so deeply seen? Known? Understood?
I can remember times just begging on the inside to be seen… for years. Feeling so alone. So misunderstood. So unseen in the truest parts of me. Feeling like I gave and gave and gave without reciprocation.
But I couldn't let anyone know…
I couldn't show it on the outside...
If I let someone in, I would risk allowing someone to see me vulnerable, deliberately exposing a cinch in my armor.
It felt like a non-negotiable.
"Don't let them see your weaknesses, don't lose your ground, don't give them an opportunity to take advantage"…
…battling against the other voices of…
"I don't want to feel this alone forever … is this supposed to feel so hard? Is there something wrong with me that I don't have the closeness I want?"
No, there was nothing wrong with me or you. It's simply that we haven't known how to safely bring our truest-self forward, in life, in business, or in relationships.
"Push through, wall-up tighter, work harder, prove how amazing you are, make sacrifices, serve others even MORE deeply"… are the marching orders for life… and it's exhausting.
All the while feeling completely helpless to change THIS aspect of my life. Why could I create so much in my outer world and still feel so stuck in my relationships?
I had no idea that I held the key… and it was the balancing of mas/fem energy inside of me that changed everything.
I haven't felt like this for nearly 10 years. What once felt impossibly painful and difficult for me;
… relationships
… connection
… intimacy
Now is the healing balm that covers every aspect of my life. It healed my personal relationships. And then to my great surprise, it healed my ability to successfully run my own business, manage my own teams, and deeply support my clients…
I found out I wasn't the only one feeling this, and I could now support women to tap into their feminine energy to access their superpowers as well.
