This is one of the most important articles I have written for female business owners
There are 2 categories of hiring,
1. Hiring team support, employees, contractors
2. Hiring coaching/expertise support
Do you know most successful businesswomen have invested 90-100% into masculine-energy support? This means things like systems, strategies, tools, certifications and implementations, etc. It's the DOING. And it's external focused.
That leaves 0-10% invested in feminine-energy supports: things that focus on a holistic approach to business, personal and professional, heart centered, whole life fulfillment centered, energy or spirit centered. It's the BEING of you as a business owner and human. And it's internal focused.
Looking at this closer in my own experience and in speaking to businesswomen, I've uncovered similar patterns.
We hire people who we think:
1. Are better than us.
2. Will significantly relieve us of some discomfort we are experiencing.
3. Will make business more productive.
This thinking comes from our inundation in a society that heralds masculine-energy. And our dollars prove it.
When you hire this way, guess what happens?
You can never do "enough". And it is never enough.
For example, you think; "I will hire someone to do x, y, z for me, so I can free my time to enjoy my life, to be in the vision of the company and less in the details." Your initial investment ends up requiring more of your time and energy in the learning curve, understandably.
But then when you finally start to see the cogs turning and well oiled, you've filled all your free time. You've created MORE projects for yourself, made your business MORE productive, and increased your hustle with even less time to enjoy your life... or be in the creative visionary seat that you want.
It's the old... "I'll rest when..."
But the benchmark for *when* always changes.
There will always be the next revenue goal, which is great! But not when your rest and life fulfillment is hinging on it.
Let's remove our masculine lenses for a moment.
1. Hiring someone 'better than me': No one is better than me. People are experts in their field, but we are all equals. And the ultimate *expert* of your life and business is you.
Usually, my clients have made more money than me, but because of my personal masculine/feminine harmony and intimacy expertise, they hire me to take them into those parts of themselves. In this way, we actually up level each other within our shared container.
I'm not better than my clients, I'm the confidant that brings out their personal best.
2. Hiring someone who will relieve me from discomfort: when we look outside ourselves for our solutions without looking inward (remember, your investments tell the story that you're likely 90-100% outward focused), you will manifest the same discomfort over and over in different areas and scenarios.
Your experience is a mirror of your BEING... you try to fix the outside in order to fix the inside. Instead, we must understand the inside, which will manifest the outside. Instead of "DOING in order to BE", it's BEING, and then taking inspired action from that place.
3. Hiring someone who will make business more productive: This is great when done with the right focus. The problem is, with the first two above, the more 'productive' your business, the more hustle you are in.
Over and over women hire teams to be their masculine support, so they can free up space for their personal feminine, but they don't know or trust their feminine (enjoyment of life, worry free says, intimacy in relationships, heart desires forward) so they never go there.
WE DON'T KNOW AND TRUST OUR FEMININE, SO WE DON'T GO THERE.
If the daily air we breathe only speaks of the value of masculine energy, and then we also only hire masculine energy (money is a magnifier) what will we get more of?
Masculine energy.
This is why it is vital that we invest in feminine energy support. This is why, for our sanity at the very least, as female business owners it is vital that we master our Feminine CEO.
And when we do, we become pioneers for a new way to do business and life. We literally step into our most powerful version of ourselves to ACTUALLY create everything we ever wanted.
We must go against the grain of society and create the balance, the beautiful dance of masculine and feminine energy. Inside of ourselves. Inside of our businesses. In our partnerships. And in our whole lives.
